Browse our boxes and place your order online or over the phone. 

Choose between no-fee home delivery or two convenient pick up locations, and enjoy your food!

Top Box Foods shops all month to find you the best deals on fresh fruits and vegetables and frozen meats, poultry, and fish.

We then bundle the food in boxes and partner with churches, community organizations, housing facilities, and schools to help spread the word about these tremendous savings.

In Lake County, our boxes are available for pre-order. They are delivered monthly to convenient locations, typically in communities with limited access to healthy and affordable food.

Because we keep our costs low, we're able to give 5% of sales back to our partnering organizations.

  • Anyone can order Top Box Foods and everyone should! Each person who buys a box helps expand the Top Box Foods community, which increases purchasing power and savings. By eating well and spending less on groceries, you are creating positive change for yourself, your family, and your community.

  • We make it easy for you to pay for your boxes! There are a variety of ways to pay for your order:

    1. At Checkout, you can pay for your order via Paypal

    2. Credit/Debit or LINK: If you're not ready to pay at the time of Checkout, please give us a call at 312-527-7890 *200 to process your payment over the phone at your convenience. 

    If you have not paid the week of Pick Up, a TBF Representative will give you a call to process your payment. Please keep in mind that if you do not pay before your Pick Up date, your order will be cancelled. 

  • No. Top Box Foods has no minimum or maximum order requirements. We have a great selection of boxes, order what looks delicious to you!

Receiving Your Order

  • There are two ways to place your order:

    1. Click here to view our menu, and shop our boxes! 
    2. Give us a call at (312) 527-7890 *200 and a TBF Customer Service Representative will go through the products, answer any questions, place your order, and process your payment.


    Order Deadline: Tuesday before Pick-Up at 10AM

  • Our staff and refrigerated truck will be at your pick-up location during the designated times. 

    Simply let TBF Staff know you are there to pick up your order, give us your name, and we will help you load your boxes into your car.

    If you are unable to pick up your order, please let us know as early as possible - call us! - so we can either change your order to delivery or cancel and refund your order.

    *During the COVID-19 Pandemic, masks are required at TBF pick-up sites. If you do not have a mask, Top Box Foods will provide you one.


  • Anyone can purchase Top Box Foods Express and everyone should! Each person who buys a box helps expand the Top Box Foods Express community, which increases purchasing power and savings. By eating well and spending less on groceries, you are creating positive change for yourself, your family, and your community.

  • Top Box Foods offers 2 convenient Pick Up locations on the 1st Saturday of the month, so you can grab your order and go!

    Pick Up Locations:

  • During the COVID-19 Pandemic, Top Box Foods can no longer accept on-site payments. All orders must be paid for before your Pick-Up date via: 

    Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express), LINK Cards (SNAP), or nline at checkout via Paypal.


  • Yes. Top Box Foods accepts SNAP benefits via LINK Cards as payment for orders. All payments must be made before your Pick-Up date or your order will be cancelled and refunded. Please give us a call at your convenience to process your LINK payment. 

  • Our no-fee home deliveries are effortless and contactless, so you can get your food easily while staying safe at home.

    At check out: choose no-fee home delivery for the date you would like to receive your food.

    Day before your delivery: we'll send you a reminder email with an Estimated Delivery Window, so you know when to expect your food.

    Delivery Day: Our volunteer delivery driver will call or text you when they are on the way to let you know when they will arrive. Please be on the lookout for a call from your delivery driver during your Estimated Delivery Window. When the driver reaches your home, they will bring your order to the front door, step back to maintain social distancing, and call you to let you know that your order has arrived. You can retrieve your order from your front door to bring it inside. For the health and safety of our customers and our drivers, drivers have been instructed to bring your order to the front door of your home or building - drivers will not enter your home.

  • Yes. You can expect the offerings in some of our boxes to change every few months because we are always looking for the best deals. We work hard to make sure that we have the foods you love every month, as well as new items to add variety. Our Shop Boxes page is the best way to stay up to date on current offerings, product details, and recipe inspiration.

  • Top Box Foods is different than your typical retail store. We work hard to identify direct sources of high quality, healthy food from vendors, and we buy enough of it to get the best possible pricing. Because we are a non-profit, we run the business without a lot of the usual costs of a retail grocery store.  To keep our costs low and our prices averaging around 40% off the cost of retail, we have a vast network of volunteer support, no fixed assets or real estate, no trucks or warehouses to own, low overhead costs, minimal retail and marketing costs, low transportation costs, no investors demanding a return, and no retail mark-up.

  • Our food comes from several trusted suppliers who are able to find good deals on high quality products from manufacturers and brokers who primarily supply restaurants, grocery stores, and catering businesses – businesses that demand consistent, high quality products to successfully support the large volume and expectations of the operations they run.

  • Yes, we offer holiday specials! As part of our changing product mix, we offer seasonal boxes and specialty products to celebrate special occasions such as Thanksgiving, Easter, and Holiday Boxes.

  • Top Box Foods takes pride in our high-quality, affordable boxes of food. We hope that every Top Box Foods customer is fully satisfied with our products.     • All issues and concerns regarding recently delivered food must be received by Top Box Foods no later than 5pm the Monday following delivery.
    • If there's a problem with the quality of your order, Top Box Foods gives full credit towards a future order on all affected products.
    • On Order Fulfillment Issues, Top Box Foods provides credit/debit, check, LINK, and credit (Top Bucks) refunds.
    • Top Box Foods reserves the right to review all cases independently.
  • Our goal is to communicate clearly and regularly with our customers. For this reason, you will receive a confirmation email when you place an order (if you provide an active email address). We also attempt to call and text all of our customers to remind them about their order contents, delivery location, and the pickup day and time. Customers are then added to our newsletter and promotional email and text lists. If you prefer not to be on those lists, you can either unsubscribe or just notify us by phone or email that you would like to be removed.

We welcome new partners because the more partners we have, the bigger the Top Box Foods Express community grows, and the better savings we can offer.

    Engage volunteers to help staff monthly deliveries of food.

    Designate a contact person to communicate regularly with Top Box Foods Express.
