How it Works in Rockford


We are an anti-hunger nonprofit that sells healthy, affordable groceries and delivers to anyone and everyone for free.


Browse our boxes, place your order online or over the phone, and enjoy your food!

Top Box Foods shops all month to find you the best deals on fresh fruits and vegetables and frozen meats, poultry, fish, and grains.

We then bundle the food in boxes and partner with churches, community organizations, housing facilities, and schools to help spread the word about these tremendous savings on delicious, healthy foods.

In Lake County, our boxes are available for pre-order. Boxes can be ordered online or over the phone by the Tuesday before delivery day. All orders will be delivered for no additional fee on the third Saturday of the month.

Because we keep our costs low, we're able to give 5% of sales back to our partnering organizations. Shop with us to support your local organizations!

  • There are two ways to place your order:

    1. Click here to view our menu, and shop our boxes online. 
    2. Give us a call at (312) 527-7890 Ext. 200 and a TBF Customer Service Representative will go through the products, answer any questions, place your order, and process your payment.

    Order Deadline: Tuesday before Delivery Day at 10AM

  • Top Box Foods Rockford currently serves customers in the Rockford, IL area. If you live within that area, we hope you'll order from us to access healthy, affordable groceries. By eating well and spending less on groceries, you are creating positive change for yourself, your family, and your community.

Receiving Your Order

  • Our no-fee home deliveries are effortless and contactless, so you can get your food easily while staying safe at home.

    At check out: choose no-fee home delivery for the date you would like to receive your food.

    Day before your delivery: we'll send you a reminder email with an Estimated Delivery Window, so you know when to expect your food.

    Delivery Day: Our volunteer delivery driver will call or text you when they are on the way to let you know when they will arrive. Please be on the lookout for a call from your delivery driver during your Estimated Delivery Window. When the driver reaches your home, they will bring your order to the front door, step back to maintain social distancing, and call you to let you know that your order has arrived. You can retrieve your order from your front door to bring it inside. For the health and safety of our customers and our drivers, drivers have been instructed to bring your order to the front door of your home or building - drivers will not enter your home.

  • We are currently delivering all orders for no additional fee! Simply provide your delivery information when you checkout online or over the phone, and we'll bring the food to you.

  • If you are unable to be home to receive your order, please let us know as early as possible so we can work with you to get you your food. Give us a call at (312) 527-7890 *200 and our excellent Customer Service team will help you find a solution.

  • Yes. You can expect the offerings in some of our boxes to change every few months because we are always looking for the best deals. We work hard to make sure that we have the foods you love every month, as well as new items to add variety. Our Shop Boxes page is the best way to stay up to date on current offerings, product details, and recipe inspiration.

  • Top Box Foods works with community partners to spread the word about our healthy, delicious, and affordable food boxes. When our customers select their partner organization at checkout, 5% of their order goes to that partner!   • Yes, we offer holiday specials! As part of our changing product mix, we offer seasonal boxes and specialty products to celebrate special occasions such as Thanksgiving, Easter, and Holiday Boxes.

  • Top Box Foods takes pride in our high-quality, affordable boxes of food. We hope that every Top Box Foods customer is fully satisfied with our products.     • All issues and concerns regarding recently delivered food must be received by Top Box Foods no later than 5pm the Monday following delivery.
    • If there's a problem with the quality of your order, Top Box Foods gives full credit towards a future order on all affected products.
    • On Order Fulfillment Issues, Top Box Foods provides credit/debit, check, LINK, and credit (Top Bucks) refunds.
    • Top Box Foods reserves the right to review all cases independently.


  • We make it easy for you to pay for your boxes! There are a variety of ways to pay for your order:

    1. At Checkout on our website, you can pay for your order via Paypal or using your Credit/Debit card.

    2. Call to Pay: If you're not ready to pay at the time of Checkout, please give us a call at 312-527-7890 *200 to process your Debit/Credit card payment over the phone at your convenience. 

    3. SNAP: If you are paying with a Link card, chose "SNAP/LINK (pay at delivery)" at checkout. Your payment will be processed in-person on delivery day. We will call you to confirm your order and provide you with your estimated delivery window two days before your delivery, so you can be ready to pay when your order is delivered.

    If you have not paid the week of delivery, a TBF Representative will give you a call to process your payment or confirm delivery day payment. Please keep in mind that if you are paying via Debit/Credit card and you do not pay before your delivery date, your order will be cancelled. 

  • Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express), Link Cards (SNAP), or online at checkout via Paypal.

  • Yes! Top Box Foods accepts SNAP benefits via Link Cards as payment for orders. Simply chose "SNAP/LINK (pay at delivery)" when you checkout. Your Link payment will be processed in-person on delivery day.

    A TBF Customer Service Representative will reach out to you to to confirm your order and provide you with an estimated delivery window for your delivery day. Please be ready on delivery day to pay for your order with your Link card when your delivery driver has arrived.
