Cheesy Italian Pork Chops

Serves 8-10
Ingredient list: 
  • 2 Tbsp. italian seasoning
  • 1⁄4 cup parmesan cheese
  • 4 Tbsp. oil, divided
  • 8 (defrosted) boneless pork chops
  • 1 cup onion (chopped)
  • 1 jar (24 oz.) pasta sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese 
Preparation: 

Heat oven to 350°F. Spray non-stick cooking spray on 9” x 13” baking dish. Mix Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese together in small bowl; set aside.

Heat 2 Tbs. of oil in a large skillet on medium-high heat. Add 4 pork chops, cook for 2 minutes on each side. Place in baking dish. Repeat with remaining pork chops.

Reduce heat to medium-low and add onions cook 2-3 minutes. Pour pasta sauce into the skillet and bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Sprinkle Italian seasoning/Parmesan mix over chops. Spoon pasta sauce mixture over pork chops and top with mozzarella cheese.

Bake for 10 minutes.
